❓ Frequently Asked Questions
🧑🏫 What kind of lessons do you offer?
I offer two main formats:
💬 How do individual lessons work?
Lessons are held via Microsoft Teams. We talk, practice, and address your questions in real time. Homework (for full lessons) is targeted grammar training—focused only on what you haven’t mastered, so no time is wasted.
💰 How much does a lesson cost?
💡 Why packages? Because commitment accelerates progress, and the pricing reflects that.
📅 What’s the lesson schedule?
You decide. Some students come weekly, others twice a week, and some return after months away. There’s no fixed curriculum or deadlines—everything is built around your time, budget, and motivation.
🔊 Do you teach Russian pronunciation?
Yes. Pronunciation is one of my specialties.
👥 Do you offer group lessons?
I can teach a pair at 1.5× the price. However, I strongly recommend one‑on‑one lessons—group formats dilute effectiveness, especially long term.
🆓 Is the first lesson free?
No. Personal training is a paid service. But I do offer free, detailed lessons on my YouTube channel. The trial lesson is affordable and lets you test the waters without a big commitment.
👶 Are there age restrictions?
Generally 12+. For younger learners, we can try a trial lesson first to see if the format works.
🧠 Do you work with absolute beginners or advanced students?
Absolutely. Many students begin with me as complete beginners and grow into confident speakers over time. Advanced learners are also welcome—I adapt lessons to your goals.
📆 When will spots be available?
If I don’t have spots, it means I’ve reached my weekly capacity. Openings appear unpredictably—when someone pauses, travels, or finishes. I usually contact people who reached out most recently when a slot opens.
📭 Why didn’t you reply?
I reply to every enrollment request. If you don’t see my email, it may have landed in your spam or promotions folder. Please check there, and if you find my message, let me know. That way I can fix the issue on my end and make sure future emails reach you directly.
